    MY STORY My name is Thelma Elise Warner. I am a grateful 2017 heart recipient. Presently, I am in need of a kidney from a live donor. I suffered an acute kidney injury during my heart surgery. There are risk with every surgery but the positive outcome is, I’m still alive and blessed that there is a way to sustain my life through dialysis. I go to dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours. My worry is that eventually it my wear my new heart down. I am stage 5 kidney failure and I am seeking a live donor per my doctors request. They believe I would have a better and longer chance of survival with a live donor. I am here with the generous assistance of friends that know and can identify with my plight. That is exactly what Thelma Warner will have to do if she doesn't find a living donor soon.  Thelma Warner is a former flight attendant and a retired Business Education Teacher. Unfortunately, Thelma experienced Heart failure in 2013 which led to her having a heart transplant in 2017.
