MY STORY
My name is Thelma Elise Warner. I am a grateful 2017 heart recipient. Presently, I am in need of a kidney from a live donor. I suffered an acute kidney injury during my heart surgery. There are risk with every surgery but the positive outcome is, I’m still alive and blessed that there is a way to sustain my life through dialysis. I go to dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours. My worry is that eventually it my wear my new heart down. I am stage 5 kidney failure and I am seeking a live donor per my doctors request. They believe I would have a better and longer chance of survival with a live donor. I am here with the generous assistance of friends that know and can identify with my plight.
All I ask is that you consider donation and/or share with your friends and have them share with their friends and so on. Perhaps my miracle can be found amongst the many people viewing my page. I’m hopeful and have faith that someone out there has thought about being a donor and will assist me in my endeavor. Thank you.
